ABOUT THE CONTEST:
From the page to the screen:
The New American Screenplay Contest is open to screenwriters from any nationality and country. The New American Screenplay contest encourages both emerging and established screenwriters. Scripts will be judged by a panel of industry experts, as well as the staff of the New American Screenplay Contest.
THE PRIZES:
Short:(5 to 40 minutes)
Grand Prize Grand Prize winner will be:
- produced and submitted to festivals
- distributed to agents and producers partnering with The New American Screenplay Contest
- submitted to acclaimed film festivals
- 10 copies of finished film
- Distribution through American screenplay contest partners – meeting with literary agent.
1st runner up First Runner up receives:
– filmmaker package/ basic product suite from Sony Creative
- screenplay distributed to agents and producers partnering with The New American Screenplay Contest
– Free Inktip Registration
2nd Runner up 2nd Runner Up receives Creative Screenwriting Magazine subscription
Feature: (80 to 120 minutes)
